Transient Labs x MakersPlace Miami Art Week

Hello Transient Family,

We're pleased to announce a new partnership with MakersPlace to bridge traditional and digital art.

Debuting at Art Week Miami in December, we'll curate physical art from world-class artists together. The artworks come with a secure chip attached and a digital certificate of authenticity backed by the blockchain, utilizing our new product, T.R.A.C.E.

The artists represent different genres from web3 and traditional art backgrounds. The lineup includes WhIsBe, Patrick Amadon, Jack Kaido, Andrea Crespi, Mikael B., Botto, Hafftka, PIA, Dave Pollot, ADHD, Parin Heidari, Kyle Dunn, Jake Andrew, and Gina Choy (curated by Accelerate Art).

Join us at The Sagamore Hotel

The artworks will be displayed at The Sagamore Hotel South Beach from Tuesday, December 5, through Sunday, December 10. They will be available for sale on MakersPlace, where collectors can buy a digital twin NFT that unlocks the physical artwork. In addition to the physical artworks being powered by T.R.A.C.E., MakersPlace and Transient Labs are also curating ground-breaking digital art by Laurence Fuller & Vincent D'Onofrio.

Also, many artists will join us for panel talks and live painting at The Sagamore Hotel on Friday, December 8.

What is T.R.A.C.E. by Transient Labs? 

T.R.A.C.E. ("Tokenized Records for Artwork Certification and Evolution") is a new form of technology that will serve as a new standard for provenance, authentication, evolution, and documentation for physical and digital art. The secure chip is physically attached to the artwork and is paired with a digital certificate of authenticity backed by the blockchain. Once validated by the original creator, the artwork's lineage gets permanently logged onto the blockchain.
