🧪 The Lab’s Upcoming Releases
In February, we directed our efforts towards developing Stacks - a new feature that will provide customizable mint pages for creators. This feature is set to transform the way artists showcase and sell their work. Our team is also preparing for the introduction of the ERC7160 standard, which is expected to bring more innovation and versatility to the world of digital art creation via multi-metadata NFTs.
Stay tuned for the imminent launch of Stacks and the upcoming ERC7160 contract, which are designed to expand your creative possibilities! Additionally, we’ve been busy building the self-service T.R.A.C.E. (Tokenized Records for Artwork Certification and Evolution) platform, allowing anyone to utilize the technology to track physicals & valuable assets on the blockchain!

🚀 Projects and Collaborations launched in February
PhotonTide’s “The Cell”: 'CELLS' captures the essence of human connection and mirrors mitosis, inspired by the profound journey from cell to human, blending biology with our exploration of consciousness and dreams. The 1/1 Cell Piece sold at 2.569 ETH to @MysterioNFT and was integral to the CC0 #phocells challenge, which led to over 430 remixes. The 2nd part and final chapter is the edition of 50, built on the Collector's Choice smart contract. There are seven different artworks available for collectors to interact with. The edition mint on the Collector's Choice edition is live (43/52) here.
Roger Dickerman’s “24 Hours of Art”: Roger Dickerman's "24 Hours of Art" transforms each day into a unique art piece, capturing the day's news, mood, and essence. This collection of 366 tokens sold out on February 1st. Each token evolves over time, narrating the story behind its date. Built on the ERC-7610 standard, this project allows collectors to engage with the unfolding narrative of art throughout 2024, marking each day with its own creative footprint.
Tjo’s “Compulsive Obsessions” represents a significant shift towards a more interactive and immersive approach to art. Tjo’s intention with this collection is to open a dialogue about mental health, offering reflection and insight into the complexities of the human mind. The project uses the ERC-7160 contract to allow collectors to shift between all seven dairy entries and allows for dialogue between the collectors and Tjo. The collection is sold out. Learn more about the project & use of ERC7160 here.
Janie Fitzgerald’s “Glow” is her solo show at Colonna Contemporary featuring her mesmerizing, ai-infused flower studies. As part of the launch, artworks showcased in the exhibition will be accompanied by digital Certificates of Authenticity (CoA) powered by T.R.A.C.E., providing collectors and enthusiasts with unprecedented transparency and assurance. Read more about our partnership here.
Arbitrum Foundation x Transient Labs Partnership was announced with our launch partners @floor, @rogerdickerman, and @DIGTALDReAMS. Transient Labs has received a grant from The Arbitrum Foundation to enhance Arbitrum's role in the Web3 art sector, highlighting its low gas costs and user accessibility. This collaboration has already seen success with the SoundWavesNFT collection distribution with WalletConnect, generating significant new artworks on Arbitrum. Upcoming partnerships include one with Floor for NFT distribution and a joint venture with Digital Dreams for an art walk in Kansas City, both aimed at expanding Arbitrum's art reach. Additionally, we’ve launched a campaign with Roger Dickerman to promote archival art minting on Arbitrum, capped off with a curated report of standout works, emphasizing the growth and diversity of the #ARTonARB community.
