Transient Labs - 2024 Year in Review
2024 is in the books, and we’d like to take a moment to reflect on a year filled with innovation, collaboration, and community. ‘24 wasn’t without its challenges, but with the support of incredible creators and partners, we are better positioned than ever sprinting into 2025. We’d like to extend our gratitude to the community of artists, collectors, partners, and supporters who have been a part of our journey so far. 2025 is shaping up to be the year of Transient, and we’re glad you’re here for the ride.
TL;DR - 2024 Year in Review
ERC-7160 (Mulit-Creation Token) Contract: Unlike traditional NFTs, which link to a single metadata URI, ERC-7160 tokens can link to multiple metadata URIs. This allows each NFT to be a unique digital gallery, showcasing a diverse art collection under one token. Available in The Lab.
T.R.A.C.E. Store: Launched T.R.A.C.E. onchain certificates of authenticity for physical artworks, enhancing trust, transparency, and provenance. Buy T.R.A.C.E. here.
Dynamic Art Engine (DAE) Is a no-code tool that allows artists to create evolving, interactive art effortlessly. Create with Dynamic Art Engine today!
Transient.Fun: Established as the go-to hub for dApps and Transient’s creative experiments, featuring DAE and Handshake (onchain agreements). Get started at Transient.fun.
The Lab Open Beta: Removed invite codes, making Transient accessible.
Batch Uploads & Action Bar: Enabled uploading multiple assets simultaneously, enhancing productivity and streamlining the NFT creation process. We’ve also added a centralized action bar for minting NFTs, creating Mint Pages, managing collections, and improving the user experience.
Customizable Mint Pages: Mint Pages for creators to sell their editions and/or 1/1s across ETH, Base, Arbitrum, and Shape.
Expanded Blockchain Support: We’ve enabled minting on Base, Shape, and Arbitrum, offering artists more options and lower costs.
Mobile Upgrades & Bug Fixes: We’ve improved mobile interfaces and AR support for seamless artwork presentation across all devices.

That’s it! 2024. Honestly, reflecting on everything we’ve done in a year is pretty wild. And we’ll let you in on a little secret. We’d rather not use a bunch of superlatives or tell you that “we’re going to change the game in 2025”, but… we’re going to change the game in 2025. Expect BIG things from us starting in Q1, connecting the dots between art + crypto and AI in a way no one has ever seen. NBD. Lol.
