Transient Curated:

Farewell and a Black Sail by Paul Reid
September opened our fall program with David Lisser’s Mirror 404 and the next chapter in Paul Reid’s Ariadne’s Thread. October extends the line with new artist-led releases, including forthcoming presentations by Ana Maria and Diane Lindo. Explore the exhibitions below.
Mirror 404 by David Lisser: Lisser sets small mirrors into natural vignettes and scans them into native point clouds. The mirrors resist capture, producing apertures and misregistered reflections that make the technology visible to itself. Kevin Buist’s essay frames the work within a long history of mirrors in art. 29/50 collected at 0.11 ETH each. Explore the collection → https://www.transient.xyz/exhibition/mirror-404
Farewell and a Black Sail by Paul Reid: Reid returns to the Labyrinth with Farewell and a Black Sail, extending his long study of the Minotaur with the restraint and empathy that define this series. The new chapter follows the creature after Theseus, attentive to survival and memory rather than spectacle. The work is offered as a 1/1 auction with a Bidder’s Edition. Reserve: 3 ETH. Explore the exhibition → https://www.transient.xyz/exhibition/ariadnes-thread
Pace Stills by Ana María Caballero: Caballero releases 3 generative stills connected with her recent multi-channel video work, PACE. Scattered moments from Caballero’s choreography contextualize this mark-making as they dance between the words of the poem on the page. Reserves: .4E Releasing Tuesday, October 7th.
Imagination by Diane Lindo: Imagination is a collection of video works from Diane Lindo, tying together punk rock aesthetics and a descent into the subconscious. In the titular work, and every video across the collection, Diane’s biting, hand-made stop motion style can be felt. Releasing on October 14, enquire for pricing and a preview of the works.
Featured Drops from The Lab:

Apex by Philheal and the Bidder’s edition fragment
Ripples by Philheal: A lore-first expedition across the world of Ala unfolds through ten 1/1 works written as a captain’s log. The imagery moves from coastlines and isles to sacred falls, forests, empires, and thresholds, introducing guardians and masquerades that anchor the myth. Participation is built into the form: every bidder receives a map-fragment edition that can be burned to assemble the complete map, revealing the locations of the works inside D.A.M. The series blends worldbuilding, cartography, and collection into a single narrative gesture. 0.1E reserves. Collect it today.
Community Surf by Alimo: Ten open-edition illustrations released for 24 hours at 0.01 ETH each, inviting the community to “catch all the waves”. The first ten collectors to complete all ten received a bonus dynamic 16:9 edition that was updated after the drop. 45 editions collected.
Forgotten Relics Part II by Osinachi: A new chapter from the Nigerian pioneer of Microsoft Word painting. Created during Osinachi’s residency at the Rockefeller Bellagio Center and presented as part of his Iconoclast program with Kate Vass Galerie at Digital Art Mile, the series imagines a near future where robotic stand-ins replace familiar pets. Four 1/1 works are available now: Dear / est, God’s / Eye-View, Buy / Bread, Red / Hanky. Reserves: 2.3E each.
Alpha Waves by Ayla El-Moussa: A dynamic painting that inhabits four tonal states. One state is revealed each week in a non-repeating sequence. On the solstices and equinoxes, the work gathers all four at once in a single grid, a rare alignment witnessed this month at the Fall Equinox. Created from layered photography, digital painting, drone imagery, and hand-textured treatments. The collector also receives Salt & Skin, an earlier work that traces the evolution of this piece. Buy Now: 5 ETH.
